BioJet In-Press

The BioJet machines clean your anilox rolls by means of blasting, using sodium bicarbonate (NaHCO3), also known as baking powder. This blasting agent is harsh enough to remove the pollution from the cells, but not harsh enough to also damage the ceramic or chrome. Ceramic has a hardness of 6.5 Moh relative to 2.5 Moh for the blasting agent used by us. We perform blasting at a pressure of 2.8-3.2 bar, as a result of which your rolls will not get damaged. This cleaning technique is usually suitable for anilox rolls with a low to medium number of lines per cm.

The BioJet In-Press allows fully automatic cleaning of your anilox rolls, while they are still installed in the printing press. Using the optional Trolley you can also clean rolls outside the machine, making you even more flexible.

The BioJet In-press method is an eco-friendly method that quickly and effectively blasts your anilox rolls. Cleaning a roll with a line length of 2,500 mm will take between 35-45 minutes, depending on the degree of pollution and the rotation speed of the roll. At the front, on the nozzle, there is a brush ring that is applied against the roll “kiss-touch”, as a result of which the blasting media used can be extracted quickly and without dust.
